Section 01

Who We Are

This website (yudha-fight-camp.com) is operated by Jishnu Yudha, trading as Yudha Home and Yudha BootCamp, based in Kerala, India. Training takes place at partner gyms such as Valley MMA and at seminar venues announced on this site.

In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Yudha Home. “You” refers to anyone who visits the website, sends us an enquiry, creates an account, or registers for a camp. We are the “data fiduciary” for the personal data described below, within the meaning of India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Questions about this policy can be sent to jishnuksunip@gmail.com.

Section 02

Information We Collect

We collect only what we need to run the camp and this website.

When you register for a camp, we ask for:

  • Full name, email address and mobile number
  • Age and gender
  • District and occupation
  • Your training background, goals and the plan you are interested in (fight career, self defence, fitness or hobby)
  • The UPI transaction ID of your fee payment, so we can match your payment to your registration

When you send an enquiry or join a waitlist, we collect your name, email address, mobile number and the seminar location you are interested in.

When you sign in with Google, Google shares your name, email address, Google account ID and profile picture with us. We use these to create and identify your account. We never see your Google password.

Automatically, when you browse, we collect usage data through analytics: pages viewed, buttons clicked, form fields started, time on page, referring site, device and browser type, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. See Cookies and Analytics for details.

Section 03

How We Use Your Information

We use your personal data to:

  • Process and confirm your camp registration
  • Verify that the fee has been received against the transaction ID you provide
  • Send you a confirmation email with the date, venue and what to bring, and contact you about changes to a session you registered for
  • Respond to enquiries and let you know when a camp is announced in a location you asked about
  • Plan sessions safely, for example grouping participants by experience level and age
  • Keep your account signed in and secure
  • Understand how the website is used so we can improve it and fix problems
  • Meet legal, tax and record-keeping obligations

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Section 04

Payments

Camp fees are paid by UPI directly from your own banking or UPI app to our UPI ID. The payment is handled entirely by your bank, your UPI app and the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI). We do not run a payment gateway on this website.

We never ask for, and never store, your bank account number, card details, UPI PIN or passwords. The only payment-related information we keep is the transaction ID you enter on the registration form, which we use to reconcile your payment.

Section 05

Cookies and Analytics

Analytics. We use PostHog to understand how visitors use the site. PostHog sets cookies and uses local storage to recognise returning browsers and to record page views, clicks and form interactions. Analytics events may be linked to your email address after you register or sign in so we can see, for example, where people drop off during registration.

Sign-in cookie. When you sign in with Google, we set a secure, HTTP-only cookie named refresh_token that keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. It is strictly necessary for the account feature to work and is removed when you sign out.

Your choices. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, but you may be signed out and we will not be able to recognise your browser in analytics. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Section 06

Who We Share It With

We share personal data only with service providers who help us run the website and the camp, and only to the extent needed for that purpose:

  • Hosting and database providers that store the website and its registration records
  • Email delivery providers that send your confirmation and camp updates
  • PostHog for analytics, as described above
  • Google when you choose to sign in with your Google account, and Google Maps when you open a venue map link
  • Cloudinary, which hosts the images and video used on the site
  • Coaches and venue partners such as Valley MMA, who receive the participant list (name, contact number, age and experience level) needed to run a session safely

Some of these providers process data on servers outside India. We may also disclose personal data where required by law, a court order or a lawful request from a government authority, or to protect the safety of participants.

Section 07

How Long We Keep It

  • Registration records (including the transaction ID) are kept for as long as needed to run the camp you registered for and to meet accounting and tax requirements, which in India is generally up to 8 years.
  • Enquiry and waitlist details are kept until a camp has been announced in your location and you have been informed, or until you ask us to delete them, whichever is earlier.
  • Account data is kept while your account is active. Sign-in session records are deleted when you sign out or after 30 days.
  • Analytics datais retained according to PostHog's default retention settings and is aggregated wherever possible.

When data is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymise it so it can no longer identify you.

Section 08

Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect your personal data. The website is served over HTTPS, registration data is stored in an access-controlled database, sign-in tokens are signed and stored in secure HTTP-only cookies, and access to participant records is limited to people who need it to run the camp.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you and the relevant authority as required by law.

Section 09

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Ask what personal data we hold about you and receive a copy
  • Ask us to correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete
  • Ask us to delete your data, unless we must keep it to meet a legal obligation (for example, payment records)
  • Withdraw consent where our use of your data is based on consent, for example by asking us to stop sending camp updates
  • Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf if you are unable to

To exercise any of these rights, email jishnuksunip@gmail.com from the address you registered with. We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may raise a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India.

Section 10

Participants Under 18

Training is open to younger participants, but a parent or legal guardian must complete the registration and provide consent for anyone under 18. By registering a minor, you confirm that you are their parent or legal guardian and that you consent to us processing their details for the purposes described here.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from a child without a guardian's consent, and we do not use children's data for tracking, targeted advertising or behavioural monitoring. If you believe a child has provided data to us directly, please contact us and we will remove it.

Section 11

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the camp grows or as the law changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. If a change materially affects how we use data you have already given us, we will notify you by email or by a notice on this website before it takes effect.
